Nothing inside a system can certify that system. That isn't an engineering gap waiting on better tools; it was settled in 1931. Which means the check has to come from outside. That's the only reason this is a company separate from the product it builds.
Two commitments, and you can hold us to both. We don't take money that would change a verdict. And we publish what we find, including the times we were wrong.
If AGI ever arrives, it won't be the day a machine finally imitates us well. It'll be the day it's a reflection of us, and people recognise it. Verifying a system like that is the reason this company exists. We don't know if it's reachable.
